Our revolution is simple: Elevate Christ in business.

We do this by helping Christian business owners deepen their faith AND grow their business.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

As business owners, we sometimes feel like we need to be on top of things at all times.  We are in charge and we must take on everything ourselves. When things start going wrong, we feel the need to jump in and save the day.

We find ourselves with the proverbial spinning plates.  One begins to wobble and we run to it to firm it up only to find another one on the other side starting to wobble.  We run to that one and our life just gets busy running from plate to plate.

God doesn’t want us to be that way.  He did not put us in a business to be busy, He put us in business to impact lives.  He has called you to a purpose and placed you in your business for a reason.  Never forget why you do what you do.

If we look at the context of this verse we find a lot going on.  The chapter begins talking about what it is like to live life according to God’s purpose.  Then, the text shifts to present suffering.  We find Paul sharing a Kingdom perspective as he reminds us that hope is what we have that makes us strong.

Immediately following this section of scripture God reminds us that we are “more than conquerors.”  He reminds us that God is on our side when we rest in His presence.  Look at verses 38-39

“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

We are not perfect and we are not expected to be perfect.  That was the job of Jesus and He has completed that task for us.  We are called to be obedient children who rest in knowing that God will bring us through no matter what this world throws at us.

We are called conquerors because we will overcome.  We do this by relying on His power and His presence to bring us through the struggles of this life.  We must remember are not in this fight alone.

When you feel overwhelmed take a deep breath, relax your shoulders and look up.  Know that God is there by your side and He will show you the way to overcome any situation that comes up in your life or in your business.

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

Go and be a blessed and be a blessing.
