The word called gets tossed around a lot in church circles.
But let’s not water it down.
When God calls you, He’s not just suggesting a better route.
He’s assigning you a purpose.
You didn’t end up in business by accident.
You didn’t stumble into leadership because no one else showed up.
You’ve been called—set apart with intention and grace.
“He has saved us and called us to a holy life—not because of anything we have done but because of His own purpose and grace.”
—2 Timothy 1:9
Let that verse breathe over your calendar, your to-do list, your mission statement.
You were called on purpose… for a purpose.
Quick reminder of what you’ve been called to:
- To do business with eternal impact
- To lead with integrity in your home, work, and community
- To walk as a child of God, not an orphan chasing success
- To point people to Christ in how you serve, not just what you sell
- To be part of a believing, praying, growing community
- To love well, even when it’s inconvenient
- To bring the light of the Kingdom into boardrooms, inboxes, and marketplaces
You are CALLED.
Not because you’re qualified, but because God is gracious.
This Week’s Challenge:
Write the word CALLED somewhere you’ll see it—your planner, lock screen, or mirror.
Let it remind you:
- When business feels slow? You’re called.
- When leadership feels lonely? You’re called.
- When you want to quit? You’re still called.
Go forward in boldness, not because of who you are,
but because of who called you.
Be blessed.
And be a blessing.
